Plasmacluster Ion Technology

Plasmacluster Ion technology is Sharp's original sanitizing technology that purifies the air by emitting positive and negative ions. This technology deactivates suspended airborne mold, viruses, dust mite allergens, and bacteria. It also tackles a wide range of odors including pet dander and cigarette smoke, ensuring a cleaner and fresher indoor environment.

Advanced Sensor Features - Auto Mode

1. Odor Sensor: Automatically detects air odors and adjusts the purifier to the appropriate mode.
2. Cigarette Sensor: Automatically detects smoke in the area and adjusts the purifier accordingly.
3. Temperature Sensor: Displays the room temperature and adjusts the operation mode as needed.
4. Humidity Sensor: Displays the room's humidity level and adjusts the operation mode for optimal air quality.
5. Dust Sensor: Automatically senses the dust level in the air and adjusts the purifier mode.
6. Light Sensor: Automatically switches the purifier to sleep mode when the lights are turned off.

AIoT Technology

Sharp's AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) technology combines AI and IoT to provide intelligent control and air quality monitoring through the Sharp Air app. This allows users to control the purifier remotely and receive real-time updates on air quality.

Haze Mode

Haze mode allows the purifier to operate at maximum speed for the first 10 minutes, followed by a higher speed for the next 50 minutes. After 60 minutes, the purifier alternates between normal and high airflow for 20 minutes. This mode is particularly useful for quickly purifying the air after returning from outdoors.

Filtration Technology

Micron-Mesh Pre-Filter

The micron-mesh permanent pre-filters capture large airborne particles, such as dust, pollen, hair, and pet dander. This extends the life of the True HEPA and carbon filters. The pre-filter can be cleaned periodically by vacuuming or hand-washing.

HEPA Filter

The HEPA filter is tested and certified to remove at least 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns in diameter from the air passing through it. These particles are about 300 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair. It is important not to wash the HEPA filter with liquid as it can damage the filter's efficiency.
