The 1.8L water tank can be detached easily for adding water, you can pour water directly into the tray or remove the tray from the machine and pour more water. The moisture filter is integrated in the water tray when the water is poured into the tray enough to set the filter to float itself up. The life of the humidifier filter is up to 5 years.
